Case Study: Application Development

During a full site redesign, I assisted in integration of heavy CSS utilization and database structuring in order to provide a legal client with a distinctly different design than they had previously. Specific items that I helped to develop are the dynamic content management system, event registration system, attorney directory and press room area. The administrative portions of the website utilize Cold Fusion as a primary language, and the content management components are driven with a hybrid of a third party content tool with Cold Fusion interfacing. I was also able to assist in conversion of materials into a CSS driven layout as well as assist in development of their dynamic Flash navigation components. Research and development with the Google Mini search server is found on all pages, and I was able to customize the API elements from the Google server to tailor the result sets that are provided within the site.

The intent with the redesign process was fulfilled in delivery of highly customizable CMS options for all aspects of the site, as well as delivery of a rich environment to provide thorough coverage in representation of the firm.
